VSO FireworksKick off the summer and get ready for America’s birthday with our Stars & Stripes Special!  The Vermont Symphony Orchestra kicks off its’ Summer Festival Tour, “Be Happy” at Sugarbush on Friday, June 29.  This is an outstanding performance which concludes with patriotic music and fireworks… it is a stirring event that will certainly prime your spirit for Stars and Stripes AirshowIndependence Day.  On Saturday, June 30, the Stars & Stripes Airshow at Warren Airport will stun and awe you!  All proceeds from this event are donated to the Vermont National Guard Charitable Foundation which supports guard members and their families.  What a great way to kick off the 4th of July week and help those in uniform who serve & protect all of us.

Sugarbush Adventure Games becomes the MAD TRIATHLON

The new MAD TRIATHLON at Sugarbush, formerly the Sugarbush Adventure Games, is a benefit for the Mad River Path Association and a healthy fun way to bridge the gap between Winter and Spring! The event takes place over Mother’s Day weekend and offers everything for the family.

  • Kids’ Triathlon- Saturday, May 12th at Lincoln Peak.
  • 34th Annual MAD TRIATHLON at Sugarbush – Saturday, May 12th.
  • MAD TRI party after the race, with live music and a barbecue. Starts as the race finishes.
  • Enjoy the Annual Mother’s Day Brunch – Sunday, May 13th at Lincoln Peak.

On Saturday, May 12, at 1:00 pm runners will blast out of Lincoln Peak with a 7.2 mile run, then paddle 6 miles (canoe or kayak) down the Mad River, cycle 10 miles back to Lincoln Peak, and then a trail and mud run 3 miles on a course designed to let the party begin early!  In all a 26.2 mile marathon MAD TRIATHLON.

Sugarbush’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

You should have no excuse to not be at Mt. Ellen for Sugarbush’s Pre-Patty’s Day celebration with $30 lift tickets every day through the end of the 2011/12 winter ski season at Mt.
